The project sites are located within the premises of the Afghanistan Customs OfficesJob DescriptionFinance duties:Prepare vouchers, invoices, and payment requests.Record daily financial transactions.Manage cash, bank transactions, and petty cash.Prepare financial reports and budget updates.Check supporting documents for payments.Maintain accurate accounting records.Assist with monthly financial closing and audits.Administrative duties:Manage office supplies and inventory.Maintain employee files and office records.Arrange meetings, travel, and accommodation.Support staff attendance and leave records.Prepare letters, emails, and official documents.Coordinate with vendors and service providersJob RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. * Professional qualifications such as ACCA, or equivalent are often an advantage.Work experienceUsually 5–10 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting. * Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and financial controls. * Experience working with companies, donor-funded projects or Internatioal NGOs may be required for some positions.Knowledge of taxation, payroll, audit procedures, and financial compliance.Technical skillsStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures. * Ability to prepare budgets, financial reports, reconciliations, and cash-flow reports. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quick Books.Good attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.Personal skills*Strong Accounting KnaowldgeStrong analytical and numerical skills. * Integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information. * Good communication and teamwork. * Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. * Good organizational and record-keeping skills.RequirementsEducation: Advanced (Master’s) degree or University (Bachelor’s) degreeExperience: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience with a private company, or international NGO in Finance or Accounting.
