Noor Afroz combines engineering excellence, advanced technologies, and international standards to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable energy development.Job DescriptionNoor Afroz Oil & Gas Exploration & Drilling Service Company is seeking three (3) qualified and experienced Russian–Pashto–Dari Translators / Interpreters to provide professional written and oral translation and interpretation services between Russian, Pashto, and Dari (Persian).The successful candidates will support communication between Russian-speaking technical specialists, Afghan staff, management, government authorities, contractors, and other project stakeholders.The positions will involve both office and field assignments and may require travel to project locations in Jowzjan, Sar-e-Pul, Balkh, Kabul, and other provinces as required by project activities.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide accurate oral interpretation between Russian, Pashto, and Dari during meetings, technical discussions, negotiations, and official engagements.Provide consecutive interpretation between Russian-speaking specialists and Afghan personnel during field and technical activities.Translate technical, administrative, contractual, financial, and official documents between Russian, Dari, and Pashto.Translate emails, letters, reports, presentations, instructions, meeting minutes, and project correspondence.Support Russian-speaking technical specialists during site visits, field surveys, inspections, meetings, and technical activities.Facilitate communication between Russian-speaking specialists, company management, Afghan employees, government authorities, contractors, local communities, and other stakeholders.Translate and interpret technical terminology related to oil & gas, geology, geophysics, drilling, reservoir, production, petroleum engineering, construction, and industrial operations.Review translated documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper technical terminology.Prepare written translations of project documents, reports, correspondence, and technical materials as required.Attend technical and management meetings and provide accurate interpretation of discussions and decisions.Assist in preparing bilingual or multilingual documents when required.Maintain confidentiality of all company, project, technical, commercial, financial, and official information.Coordinate closely with project managers, technical specialists, engineers, administrative staff, and management.Travel to project sites and provincial locations as required.Perform other translation and interpretation duties assigned by management.Job RequirementsQualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in translation and interpretation.Excellent command of Russian, Dari/Persian, and Pashto.Ability to translate and interpret accurately in both directions:Russian ↔ Dari/PersianRussian ↔ PashtoDari/Persian ↔ PashtoPrevious experience working with Russian-speaking specialists, international companies, or technical teams is highly preferred.Experience in oil & gas, mining, construction, engineering, energy, or industrial projects is an advantage.Good understanding of technical and engineering terminology.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.Willingness and ability to travel to Jowzjan, Sar-e-Pul, Balkh, Kabul, and other project locations when required.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple assignments.High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.Good command of English is an advantage.Key CompetenciesProfessional Russian–Dari–Pashto communicationTechnical and field interpretationWritten translation and document preparationStrong understanding of technical terminologyCommunication and interpersonal skillsConfidentiality and professional ethicsAttention to detail and accuracyFlexibility for field assignments and travelAbility to work effectively with international and local teamsWhat We OfferCompetitive and negotiable salary.Professional and international working environment.Opportunity to work with Russian-speaking technical specialists and international project teams.Exposure to major oil & gas, mining, engineering, industrial, and investment projects.Professional growth and development opportunities.Field and project-based work experience across multiple provinces.Opportunity to develop professional experience in multidisciplinary energy and industrial projects.
