Our goal is to deliver safe, reliable, and affordable healthcare.Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Ultrasound Specialist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, obtaining accurate images and measurements, and supporting physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients. The specialist is also responsible for the proper use, care, cleaning, and maintenance of ultrasound equipment and ensuring that all equipment is kept in good working condition.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician requests, hospital protocols, and professional standards.Conduct routine ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, breast, thyroid, and other examinations within the scope of professional practice.Obtain high-quality and diagnostically useful ultrasound images and measurements.Record and document examination findings accurately and maintain complete patient records.Provide appropriate information and instructions to patients before and during the examination.Maintain patient privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and safety at all times.Identify and communicate significant or urgent findings to the responsible physician according to hospital procedures.•Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures when required and within professional competency.Use ultrasound equipment properly and responsibly and ensure that the equipment is handled safely at all times.Maintain, clean, and care for ultrasound equipment and accessories according to manufacturer and hospital guidelines.Keep the ultrasound equipment and examination area clean, organized, and ready for use.Report any equipment malfunction, damage, or technical problem immediately to the concerned supervisor or responsible department.Take appropriate measures to prevent damage or misuse of hospital equipment.Follow infection prevention and control procedures during and after examinations.Coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff.Follow hospital policies, professional standards, ethical requirements, and patient safety procedures.Participate in quality improvement, training, and continuing professional development activities.He/She is responsible for the proper use, handling and care of all ultrasound equipment and accessories. He/She must ensure that the equipment is used appropriately, kept clean and safe, and maintained in good working condition. Any damage, malfunction, or technical problem must be reported immediately to the concerned supervisor.Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Medical Director and Hospital Manager.Job RequirementsDiploma or bachelor’s degree in Medical Ultrasound, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or a related field from a recognized institution.Valid professional license, registration, or certification required by the relevant health authority.Practical training or work experience in the ultrasound examinations required for the position.Good knowledge of ultrasound principles, human anatomy, and examination standards.Strong patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow professional ethics.Knowledge of safe ultrasound equipment use and infection prevention practices.Ability to complete medical records and documentation accurately.Ability to work effectively with doctors and other healthcare team members.Required language and computer skills for the role.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, if required by the employer or local regulations.Willingness to participate in relevant professional training and continuing education.RequirementsExperience: At least 5 Years
