The Victoria University of WellingtonStudy Abroad Scholarship applications are open for international applicants in 2027. This program provides the students the opportunity to experience the New Zealand culture and education. Interested applicants should participate in marketing activities to promote Study Abroad and Exchange opportunities to students at Victoria University of Wellington. Consideration goes to experiences, attributes, backgrounds and academic achievements.Details of Study Abroad ScholarshipApplication Deadline:First semester: 16 January(4:30 PM NZT Time Zone)Second Semester: 1 MayLevel of Study:PostgraduateTenure:One yearNumber of Scholarships:15Value of the Scholarship: NZ$1000Location: New ZealandEligibilitiesApplicants should meet the following criteria:International applicants who want to experience the New Zealand CultureApplicants should intend to enrol in the Study Abroad and Exchange program for at least one trimester at Victoria University of Wellington.Applicants should have applied to study abroad program at Victoria University of Wellington and hold an Offer.Provide a minimum GPA of 2.7 (out of 4).Start study in the trimester and year indicated in their Offer of Place letter.Applications from the following groups are welcomed:Students of indigenous and minority backgroundsLow-income and first-generation tertiary studentsMature studentsLGBTQIA+ studentsStudents living with disabilitiesRequired DocumentsApplicants should prepare the following documents:Acceptance letter from the Victoria UniversityCVCopy of PassportProvide a motivational letter for (what you think about staying and studying abroad experience in New Zealand will benefit you (personally, academically and professionally), and your excitement about the experience at Victoria University).
